i can't believe you are already two months. time is just flying by. you are such a happy baby. you have pretty much just been sleeping with me. i know i said i wasn't going to do this but you just sleep best this way. i love it so much but i have such a hard time sleeping next to you. i've started to put you in the pack n play next to our bed more often. there have been a couple of times i have woken up scared, thinking i was smothering you and i had already put you in the pack n play. i hate that feeling. you started smiling this month. i noticed it before five weeks and you would do it all the time in your sleep but never awake. you developed the social smile at 5 weeks. i love how soft and warm your skin is. i love how good you smell. you are just perfect. i love hearing you just softly moan. although you are a noisy sleeper, i kind of like that because i'm able to hear you.
this was your first christmas. you obviously slept through it. i made you a stocking. it was so cute.

you are a month old. this past month has been just the coolest thing ever. i went into the hospital nervous. i never knew how i would have enough love for two kids or how people managed to love the second child as much as the first. well, now i know. you are everything i ever wanted and i love you with my whole heart. it's like i have a separate heart for each of you and am able to fully love you both. i feel so incredibly blessed to have two beautiful, happy, healthy babies. you had me wrapped around your little finger from the moment i saw you and this last month has just made all those feelings even more real. you are just perfect. you are feeding every two-three hours and are growing like a weed. i love that. you are already my best friend and you don't even know it. although, i think you do!!! ;) i'm much more chill with you. i'm just soaking all these good little things in that i know will be gone in a blink of an eye. for some reason, i don't care about no sleep. i just want to be with you.

your umbilical cord came off early on the 16th and it just wept and i called the nurses line at like 11pm. i was so worried you were gonna have a messed up belly button. the nurse said, she won't bleed out. i was like what the heck. why would you say that? i was worried all night. you were fine and so was your belly button
how sad your face looks when i put the pacie in your mouth and when you want to nurse

how you have slight reflux. you kind of gag sometimes

your hair started falling out at 1 month
you got sick and were congested for like 6 weeks i felt so bad for you. we did saline rinses and suction. you hated it but it helped. it just took forever to go away. in the meantime you didn't sleep well because you couldn't breathe. which means, we didn't sleep well :)

you are such a little miracle. although, we weren't planning for you, you have a purpose here and at a month old you are already fulfilling it. i love you to the moon and back.
