it has taken me about six months to start posting on the blog again. between working, planning the wedding, spending time with you and suffering from morning sickness, i finally feel like it's time to sit down and start typing about the last six months. thank you for not making me sick when i was pregnant with you. it has been a long 17 weeks. ;)
i feel so bad that i didn't document the last six months the way that i have in the past...but i decided something is better than nothing. so, here are the few things i wrote down, i didn't want to forget:
20 months.
- you loved climbing on the table and watering the poinsettia
- you were trying to jump
- you liked to balance cheerios on a spoon and walk
- you loved your elmo and mr potato head
- you loved the cake pops uncle zac got for my 33rd birthday
21 months.
- you loved to pretend to feed your animals
- how you would sit on your butt and spin around
- how you would kiss and carry around your little ceramic lambs
- how you would just run up to me and randomly kiss me
- how you loved to run and climb on everything. you are fearless
- how you liked to get in and out of the tub
- how you pretended to shave your legs
- how you liked to shower with me or your dad
- how you would carry your animals and put them in groups
- how you would pat us on the back when we picked you up
- how well you did on the plane ride back to tulsa with just me
22 months.
- how you learned to breathe in and out on the harmonica. you loved it
- how you skied this month. you were clapping your hands while going down the hill. then you wanted to take off your skis and just ride the magic carpet up, over and over
- how you peed in the potty
- how you traveled so well to costa rica for the wedding
- you were such a good boy during the wedding
- how you loved swimming in costa, you jumped in the pool and went under water. repeated amount of times
- how you stood on your first surf board
- how you got sunscreen in your poor little eyes
- how you liked to pretend like you were eating and saying "MMMmm" while chewing
- how you fake sneeze, "AAchoo"
- how you could repeat any word we said at this point
- how you will grab our hands and want to lead us anywhere
- how you made friends with all the little kids in costa rica. they loved to touch your hair and feed you
- how you skinned your knee outside the pool at the bungalows we stayed. then the next day, you skinned the same knee and the other knee outside the house we rented.
- how you were saying, "oh man," oh gross," and "oh no"
- how we stopped nursing in costa rica. you asked for it once and that was it. you were done.
23 months.
- how you liked to climb on the stairs, turn the light on and say "morning." then turn off the light, lay down on the stair and say "nigh night" and fake snore
- how you would say, "toot," "cool," "thank you," "oh nice," and "excuse me."
- how you liked to pull everything out of the tv cabinet and sit in there
