9 months.

beckett is now nine months. where oh where is the time going? this past month, he seems to be turning into a toddler. he absolutely loves playing in his room. it's like he knows that it his room. the signs of him crawling are more and more. he definitely has down the army crawl, just not quite linking it all together so he can move quick. he loves his farm puzzle so much, he will reach for it and make sounds for me to get it if he can't. we finally got rid of the swaddle and we are thinking we should have maybe tried a little earlier, but you live you learn. he really started to show signs of just wanting to be free. we were have to go into his room and grab his pacifier numerous times once he was put down for the night. in return that would stimulate him and then he would have a hard time going back to sleep, so we said, "it's time." he did wonderful, the first night he did pretty good but the second night was definitely the end of his swaddled days, he slept 13 hours and we thought, "yep, that's what he wanted." now he can grab his pacifier anytime it falls out no matter where it is in his bed, he finds it. the new problem is, i got so worried about him suffocating against the bumpers i raised them a little bit so there could be some airflow, and every now and then his pacifier will fall out. we tried to solve that by putting 2 in bed with him. that seems to help, but every now and then, in the early evening, we do have to go in there and give it back to him. it's safe to say he generally sleeps about 13 hours a night, most times straight through, some times he will wake up once for his pacifier. if he is ever restless or in need of his pacifier, it is early evening, so it usually isn't a big deal. he does fine without it the deeper he is sleeping.

Generally this is his schedule, give or take 30 minutes or so...
7:30-wake/nurse
8:30-4tbs. cereal or yo baby yogurt with some sort of fruit or veggie
9:30-nap
10:30-wake/nurse/play
11:30-4tbs. cereal or yo baby yogurt with some sort of fruit or veggie
12:30-nap
1:30-wake/nurse/play
3-snack: rice mum-mums/cheese/cheerios/prunes/sippy cup
5:00-bath
5:30-dinner for him, 4tbs. cereal or yo baby yogurt with some sort of fruit or veggie, sometimes also we try meat (he just isn't a huge fan yet)
6:00-wind down time/nurse
6:30-out like a light

depending upon how long or early his first two naps last, he might take a quick cat nap late afternoon but we really try and refrain from that. we just try and move his bed time up thirty-forty minutes or so, and with this, he seems to do the best throughout the night. although, sometimes he does still need that extra nap. we just watch him and do what is best for him.
we have been taking him to the library, so he can see other kids. there is a fish tank and he loves to watch all the fish swim around. he loves being around other kids. my friend megan brought her little girl over and he wanted to keep his hand on her the whole time. it was so sweet. he will just look a kids and just watch them and smile. he loves it.

new things he has eaten....cheerios, rice rusk mum-mums, sweet potato puffs, cottage cheese
